This beautiful Avocado Almond Butter Smoothie is a unique combination of nutritionally-loaded avocado, tender bananas, plant milk, probiotic-rich Greek yogurt, and healthy unsweetened cocoa powder.

Avocado is considered the king of fruits. Unlike other fruits that are very low in calories and have almost no fats at all, avocado is relatively high in calories, has a superb amount of healthy fats and dietary fiber.

Its powerful health benefits are something everyone agrees on. This unique fruit is prized for its fantastic nutrient value and good flavor that goes well with different ingredients. Whether you’re baking a nice Italian casserole, preparing a delicious chocolate mousse, healthy salad, or quick smoothie, avocado is definitely a number one ingredient to include.

It’s extremely rich in vitamin K, folate, vitamin C, potassium, vitamin B5, vitamin B6 vitamin E and also contains a generous amount of iron, manganese, copper, magnesium, and phosphorous. This easy Avocado Almond Butter Smoothie is a perfect choice for a delicious afternoon snack or even a quick breakfast for when you’re in a hurry. Simply prepare all the ingredients and combine them together in a blender. ½ avocado, peeled and sliced

2 frozen bananas, chopped

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

¼ cup plain Greek yogurt (can be replaced with vanilla flavored Greek yogurt)

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp vanilla extract


Combine the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Optionally, add some more maple syrup or agave nectar before serving. If, however, you wish to reduce some sugar, replace maple syrup with stevia powder.
