Preparation time: 10 minutes
- 2 large Zestar apple
- ½ avocado, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 3 tbsp Greek yogurt, vanilla flavored
- 1 cup milk (can be replaced with reduced fat coconut milk)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp cinnamon, ground
- ¼ tsp nutmeg, ground
- 1/8 tsp cloves, ground
Rinse apples and pat dry with some kitchen paper. Place on a clean work surface. Using an apple corer, remove the center membranes and seeds.
Transfer to a blender along with the remaining ingredients and pulse until smooth and creamy. Optionally, add ¼ tsp freshly grated ginger.
