What Is The Best Exercise To Lose Belly Fat As A Busy Person

by Funmi // in Fitness

What is the best exercise to lose belly fat is actually a really tough question to answer.

There are so many different types of exercises, all with their own benefits and drawbacks, that it can be difficult to determine the best exercise for you.

The most important thing to do is what works for you. What works for someone else may not work for you, and what works now may not work later, so what is best for you will change over time.

In this blog post, we're going to discuss some of the most popular exercises to lose belly fat and what makes them so great at helping people shed pounds from their midsection.

What is belly fat?

Belly fat is what we call the accumulation of excess visceral fats around your abdomen area.

This type of body fat has been linked to higher blood pressure levels, cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and high blood sugar levels which can lead to diabetes if left unchecked for an extended period of time.

What is the best exercise to lose belly fat if you're too busy?

Actually, there are many different exercises to lose belly fat! Some people, for example, recommend running.

Other people say that swimming is the best exercise to lose belly fat. It all really depends on what you're most comfortable with and what exercise routine you'll stick to the most.

If you're looking for a quick workout that only takes 20 minutes, try running on the mill.

If you want to lose fat with more resistance, then squats are what you need! Squats work your lower body and use it as weight-bearing exercise; this is great because not everyone has access to weights or heavy equipment.

Some of the best exercises to lose belly fat are:

1. The Crunch

To do this, lie on your back and lift one knee to the sky as high as possible without moving your other leg off of the ground or lifting your hips too much from the floor.

Repeat with both sides before going onto what can be considered an ab-buster.

Put your legs out in front of you and raise them up to a 90-degree angle.

Raise both shoulders off the ground by placing your hands on either side of your head (or clasping one hand behind the other).

Hold for 30 seconds before lowering back down.

3. The Reverse Crunch

Lie on your back and bend the knees, lifting them to a 90 degree angle. Place hands under lower back for support.

Lift hips off the floor and pull both feet towards chest without bending at the waist or touching heels with hands.

Hold this position for 30 seconds before repeating three times.

It only takes 20 seconds to complete one set! Jumping jacks are great for helping with both weight loss and building endurance in the lungs by increasing oxygen intake.

5. Stationary bike

This takes 12 minutes to burn over 250 calories! This cardio workout can be done in a short time frame anywhere you have access to a bicycle, like at home or the gym.

It also does wonders for improving your cardiovascular health and strengthening your leg muscles.

6. The plank

The plank exercise can be done for up to one minute.

Planks are an excellent weight-bearing workout that will help you lose belly fat by strengthening your core muscles in addition to working other muscles such as those found in your arms and legs.

7. Squats

One of my favorite exercises is what's known as squats.

They are a low-impact exercise and can be done with or without weight plates, meaning they're accessible for people of all fitness levels!

Squats also help build muscles in your, giving you the strength to do what's known as burpees - an excellent way to burn calories and get your heart rate up in only 20 seconds!
